Hello,

How are people keeping phosphates low in a shark tank? Aluminum oxide doesn't seem sustainable financially.

I have a 310 G (setting up a 500G now) with a small spotted epaulette.
Regal 300EXT skimmer
Reefmat 1200

I'm currently running a clearwater 300 algae scrubber and ~20 gallon refrugium with macro (23 hours on a day). Both are producing a lot.

I do frequent water changes and phosphates are stuck around 0.35ppm (nitrates ~20ppm). Battling nuisance algae which is the main concern.

Thanks!
