I sometimes despair at equipment that fails, this is a UVC that’s around 2 years old (not the bulb)

Ive just gone to change the bulb and found it’s been like this for who knows how long. I change it only once a year so it could have been months!’

I used to run industrial units that did 5 - 10 k lph, hope that is easily fixed, can you remove the quartz sleeves the bulbs sit in to clean them, I know nothing about domestic units?!

Yes you can remove the sleeve, I clean them in a special ’patented’ device which means you’ve not been paying attention young man since 12 months ago when I cleaned it!! Lol

Its basically melted the connector and apparently the ’importers’ have just said it must be my fault but.... we shall see about that…..
