That is a cool picture.
It seems like the fish are floating in air.
Thanks Jan

The water tends to be very clear and I have started using a fair bit of filter wool in the sump. I have 3 pieces, 2 near the return pump area (primarily to keep the feed for the rhowaphos reactor clean as it kept clogging) and another piece just after the skimmer.

I just change it all every 7-10 days or so when it’s gone brown, and it’s very effective and possibly under rated. I still use filter socks as well but the wool is very cheap and just gets thrown away.

Here’s a picture of The anemone. I think I’m going to get a few more different ones

I quite like them, provided they don’t move around to much and basically stay were I want them.

Any suggestions on ‘non moving varieties’ will be greatly appreciated!

carpet anemones.
But carpets grow huge.
I know and they also eat fish! Lol

I’ve been looking at one for a while, but won’t get it because of it’s potentially ‘unsociable’ behaviour. It might/will try and eat my sweet little Regal Angel!

Oh yes, they eat fish.
I once introduced 5 anthias in the tank and within 5 minutes 3 were stuck in the carpet anemone... not so LOL.
I love carpet anemones, especially in combination with the right clownfish and in one of those fancy colours.... green, red, blue ;Drool

Thanks for the ideas guys, I think I might go shopping!! Lol

I noticed last night that the large male anthias wasn’t to be seen unless he was hiding somewhere. And happen to notice the LFS had a shoal of them, so I’ll maybe get a few more.

Mmm what else......

Great pictures, looks like the crab loves it to, but my will is strong, not!

I’ve been to the LFS.............

Pictures to follow!
