I’ve tried to design the aquascape for maximum room for coral placement in the future.

So basically trying to envisage what it will look like in 3 years + time, rather than now.

I am quiet pleased with it though, it does look nice even without water! Lol

I’m just awaiting an outlet socket to extend the new Tunze Osmolator and another Apex energy bar but then I have everything ordered

It will be getting ‘moist’ very shortly. I’m going to test the pipework in the next few days, and then off we go!

Gorgeous. And tons of spots for coral placement. I've always loved the concept of "islands" in larger systems. It also keeps the flow moving in so many directions.

Looks beautiful sir. Are u planning a mixed or a specific dominant species of coral?

I’m planning mainly SPS but I just know it will end up with whatever takes my eye when I enter the LFS

Additionally, how long are you planning on letting it cycle / situate before you start adding life? Trying to to figure out how the transplant of Potomac Reef is going to go...

I've just started my new build thread on here and my tank has reached 1 year old this month.

This is pretty much my first tank of any kind, other than a Max E260 which I had for a few months before getting hooked on the hobby.

I've learned quickly as much as I can. Anyway, I know everyone likes pictures so here are a few and also a video link if it's works!

What are your light settings? Are those AI 26s?

Yes those are Hydra 26’s HD x 4 on the S650 and the light settings are the Red Sea reef spec but they go blue from 7pm.

Yes the S650 will remain a separate system other than it uses the same water change system but with a separate DOS unit. This is fully operational but temporarily paused while I fill the new tank up.

The plan is to frag some of the corals into the new tank, and eventually move some of the larger fish like the Emperor Angelfish, but that won’t be until it’s nearly full of other fish.

The cycle will be done with a shrimp from Iceland. I’ll leave it in for 6 months to rot down a bit..........

Nearly had ya! Lol.

5 large bottles of ATM Colony, fish in same or next day. Done.

Thanks Freddie and welcome back!

The Teco is the new version 2000e and is awaiting European approval on the heater which will follow free once approved so I have 2 of the new Eheim 400w heaters in place controlled by Apex. I probably won’t bother installing a heater into the Teco as it will only be in use for 3-4 months a year during spring/summer.

It’s installed but I haven’t tested it and only purchased it now as I got 10% off with all the other equipment.

Sand in this morning and now 850 litres of water. The display tank is just around half full

It’s wet........

It’s also OMGG huge !! Lol. It looks absolutely massive with some water in!!
