An amazing tank you're creating here - I've just found the thread. I really enjoyed the videos, even though I was wondering why you hadn't recorded any sound until there was a faint noise from somewhere else in the house - impressively quiet!

Everything is looking beautiful! Glad it seemed to work spreading around the aggression a little bit. Hopefully it'll hold and you can keep the nitrates in check relatively easily, as well.

The tank is very quiet as you heard, or didn't. The Abyzz a200 is absolutely silent and the NYOS Quantum 300 is also nearly silent. The most I can hear are the fans on the Radions but overall I’m very pleased with it.

In think the faint noise was me trying to be quiet whilst shuffling my feet access the floor trying not to fall over ! Lol

Thanks. I’m trying to avoid using Nopox if I can. I’ve added 8 litres of the Seachem Matrix and I’ll test again at the weekend but everything is going to plan so far (hopefull!y!)

Hey Shaun... with all that superior brain power and prowess, I find it difficult to understand how you have not incorporated music into your videos. I mean, at the very least, one can put on some music through a stereo, or even a TV, in the background.

As for trying not to fall over; if you're not falling over you're drinking the wine wrong! ;Hilarious

Matrix is great stuff. I ran it in a canister on my 125 before i drained it and drilled. Kept everything solid. Under 10 no3. For 6 months. It will work

I didn’t like it, the lights weren’t right, the yellow tang complained it made him look fat, and told me to do a better one, so I ‘accidentally’ deleted it.
