Thanks for checking in BriceThe clam is amazing! Or is that a scallop?
I don’t know do I ! LolNice video! Is the lightning a way to get them to spawn, or coincidental?
It is Pancho, it’s fascinating to watch them and try and work out what they are thinking or trying to do. I haven’t figured it yet though! So interesting to be able to observe fishes natural behaviors. Well done.
Mother is guarding her baby’s........
Yes they have exactly the same behaviour every time before and after, which is why I noticed them.(lol)
She's on the job!!
Did she do that the last times, when they spawned?
They do the business then the male buggers off! Lol
Good question JanciNice videos... and very interesting.
Do they guard the nest for a long time afterwards?
Good question Janci
They (the female I should say) guard it for about 48 hours until I assume the crabs have got everything, but then the female keeps coming back every so often to check but no longer guarding.
The male buggered off long ago ! Lol
Thanks Pancho, it’s one of my favourites to, it’s very colourful especially up closeGood picture! I like the coral.
Nice shots old man!!Here’s a picture I think of a Lobophyllia coral, a green version which has grown really well
