I have a 20 gallon softie dominant tank. I would like the ability to have sps's. What are you guys running for lights? I currently have the current orbit

The current USA orbit marine led? With the timer and all that? If so I modded one into my biocube 29g and kept sps, not bad coloration or polyp extension, just slow growth.

I have that light in my anemone tank and I have a small acro in there and it's growing great

It's not the pro. I felt like I could put something up high but was just a little hesitant

Agreed. I just found a 24" mh t5 combo for $135. I'm kinda thinking about it

I have AI primes and the built in controller is complicated. Now I wonder if dawn/dusk effects are worth it. Maybe I should have stuck with T5s.

I like the looks of t5s but they're so expensive

Get a cheaper 2 bulb with none of the extra features and use ati bulbs.

Get a coral plus and a 10k use your current for blues and BADA BING

I'm definitely gonna look in to that. They say there is good growth with t5s too

I've git a 24in 24w t5 that's current brand, two 10k white bulbs in it now but when they go I'll use ati coral plus bulbs.

I run a eBay 165w led full spectrum on the same tank looking forward to results.

So I went for it. I bought a birdsnest. It's only been in my tank for a few hours and seems to be doing great!
