I have a couple shells I got from the beach a long time ago and my urchin has been picking up one of my nassarius snails a lot, could I put some shells in the tank for the urchin? If I washed them off or something

Should be fine. I cut a piece of gsp and gave mine that to old. It's been growing on my urchins back for 5 months now.

crap I didnt boil it, its already in the tank. Do you think its fine?
Likely yes.... this is just impatience. Why throw it in anyway after asking if they should be washed? Take your time, there is no rush needed...the help is here eventually, and ready to assist.

Ordered some also. Kept him from picking up the bumblebee snails.
