Dear Liveaquaria,

please give us an accurate delivery time.
Yes, covid. Yes, short staffed. You’ve known this and have been publicizing this for at least a year. So, update your delivery times.
I feel like when I order it’ll just go out “whenever.”

a responsible hobbyist will plan to be around when a shipment is expected or at least have someone on standby. It’s harder to do when our orders go out “whenever,” and all we get is some autobot form email about shipping asap. It’s lame.
I really don’t think this is too much to ask.
Thanks.
a customer.

@glency Good afternoon. We sincerely apologize that, as noted on our Shipping Information page, due to increased order volume and staffing shortages, LiveAquaria® orders may take longer than usual to fulfill and deliver. Please be assured that your order is in queue and will be shipped as soon as possible. We also may hold your package due to inclement weather conditions or carrier delays and wanting to ensure the health of your aquatic life. Please bear with us while we work through these challenges. Your patronage and patience are sincerely appreciated.

I am assuming that you do send out a shipment notification the day it does get shipped out so the customer knows it will show up the next day and can plan for it right? Or does it just show up at the doorstep and nobody knows it’s even coming?

I have been ordering from @LiveAquaria for over 5 years, and I have to say their service in the last 3 orders has been horrible. Most online vendors will communicate and let you know exactly when your order is being shipped and if there are any issues, fish that are not available, etc...

My last 3 years have had issues, all of them, and zero communications from LiveAquaria. Half the order not being filled, shipping on a different day than originally requested... I mean.... it's not that hard, if you can only ship X packages per day, then only have so many units available to ship that day. It would also be nice if you let me know in advance if an item is not available, I should be able to make changes/cancel the order before it ships. It has happened to me twice where I place an order for a specific fish and add a few more, then the fish I really wanted doesn't get shipped... twice in the last week...

I’m guessing I won’t get an answer for this which will just fall right in line with the other poor communication from them

I recently ordered from them. Yes they do send out an email on the day it is shipped. Fish came in nicely packaged triple bagged, foams all over, and appropriate weather packs as needed.
