Tank is a 55 gallon mixed reef, current inhabitants;

Carpenter Flasher Wrasse
Black Stripe Fang Blenny
Springer's Damsel
YWG
Firefish
Springer Dottyback
Snails, Tuxedo Urchin

Would an Atlantic Pygmy Angel mix well, or am I asking for trouble. I know the tank is on the small end for one, and I would hate to crowd. I also feed frozen pretty heavy, so I hope it would leave the coral pretty much alone.

The tank in question;

Sure why not but reef safe with caution. I have 2 angels in my 65g with no issues at all. Key is to.make sure you feed frozen with sponge. The sponge is their natural diet and they won't mess with corals.

The only issue I see is your dottyback, depending on how much of a PITA it is! But I think an angel would be fine!

I think it is fine but keep in mind those angels have fiery little spirits, and it is totally possible for them to bully some of your fish. Then again, it may not.... just as it may or may not pick at corals.

Roll of the dice with these beauties.

Thanks all, think I'm going to pass even though the general conciseness seems it would be ok. I have a nice peaceful thing going, a capping sponge I like, and too many blue fish already. Think I'm going to hold out for a clown gobby.

I sometimes get the 'see a fish at the LFS, want that fish now' syndrome. Being able to get opinions here really helps slow that down. :winking-face-with-tongue:

My flame angel leaves my various LPS and Zoa's alone, but YMMV I'm told.
