I received a box earlier today and I went to rise a piece and immediately the paint was on my hands. I have Carib Sea rock in my tank along with using them in the past and have never noticed paint leaching from the rock onto my hands this quickly. Is this normal?

Caribsea Liferock is the devil (apparently). There have been multiple threads on this board with people who used it and have endured long bouts with the uglies including dinos.

Reefbum on YouTube posted a video a few weeks ago stating that after 2 years he is throwing in the towel and replacing all the CaribSea LifeRock in one of his main tanks because the battle with the uglies was too long and painful.
