It'll come back out...just give it some time.

How much time is normal? I've got a bubble tip that's been hiding in a cave for the last 6 days. For the 4 weeks or so that I've had him, he hasn't really enjoyed being in direct light, but him pouting in a cave is starting to worry me.

If he hasn't enjoyed being out in the light, reduce the light ( at decrease white and increase blue, at least for now)

I'm worried about my corals getting enough light, though. I'm still pretty new saltwater tanks. I've got this 30W light on a 9 gallon Fluval Flex. Should it just be on full blue all the time? It's a bit hard to figure out the controls. I usually just keep it in the middle range between white and blue.

20% white and 75% blue is acceptable

Crab will be more than fine. Its the nem here.
Ya it was a joke sorry you missed the humor. Yes the Nem will be fine he is trying to find a comfortable spot.

Although no one has asked which could be important....

How old is your tank?
What are your parameters?

Nems can be finicky.
