Just bought this Scoly for a super steal of a deal. It's been in the tank for about 3 days. I noticed after dipping and adding to the tank that it has some receding tissue. I dipped with revive for about 15 minutes, some copepods came off, but that was really it. There is what looks like a burrowing hole in the skeleton. Should i redip? Or do you think that is old? I have been feeding it nightly when the feeding tentacles are out and it is eating fine and puffing up like it should. Let me know what you guys think should be my next steps in helping this guy recover. Thanks tons!
Water params:
Temp 78-79 F trying to get to 77 but it's just too hot in vegas right now

Nitrates: under 10 ppm
Ph: about 8.1
KH: 9-10 dkh
Nitrite: 0
Ammonia: not detectable
Calcium: testing tonight
Mag and other trace elements: unknown.
Not dosing unless my alk goes down.
Weekly 10% water changes
Inhabitants:
Hammer, duncan, GSP, Scoly, frogspawn, 3 hermits, 2 clowns. Chaeto in sump area.

Doesn’t look like anything to me. Looks healthy overall and should be fine.

About that burrowing hole I left the one on my trachy alone and there was/is a red/black worm in it but was told might be a feather duster or something. I haven’t done anything and the trachy is growing super puffy and loves to eat so I’m not worried!

Yeah, he looks just fine to me. The hole may be old and there could be nothing in it (the case with mine after a major freak out) just feed it at night and it’ll be all good. Here’s my guy! Stole him for $60

So, I found what was in the hole. Not sure if he is a good guy or a bad guy, but I am a little nervous again since he is no longer extending his tentacles at night.
