It looked good for a week and now it’s barfing out all of its insides and looks like crap. I moved it to a low flow low light area. Should I throw it out? does it look like It’s a goner? Will it hurt the other corals in my tank if it does die?
Thanks guys

Does look stressed. How big is your tank? Unless it’s a super small tank I doubt it will harm anything you will see it melt before it starts to decompose completely.

Don’t throw it away!!!
Give it some time

Ok I will thanks. It was kinda pricey for a shroom ( 25.00 for 1 normally 50.00 but 50% off Aqua SD sale)so I don’t want to loose it

I’ve had mushrooms that look like a goner and come back.

Its throwing mesenterial filaments but definitely don't toss it. If anything, try a different spot in the tank. A mushroom can grow back from a little bit of tissue

That is EXACTLY how Yuma’s die. They die within 1-2 weeks of being introduced. A hole develops in their mouth through to the foot. The filaments come out.

You can leave it in, I don’t think it will bother anything else but you can almost certainly say it’s a goner.
