So my new tank has been cycled since around June and I have transferred my not so doing well trachy over couple weeks ago and it’s gotten better. I had been ghost feeding the tank with mysis, reef energy and tested a few times with zero nitrate, ammonia and about .06 phosphate.
Now since about 3 days ago, all the sudden the water gotten a bit cloudy and my trachy coral is not doing good, not opening. I am guessing it’s a mini bacteria bloom?
I just did a 15% water change and added some new carbon.
I don’t think I will have any fish in the tank anytime soon to produce any nitrate, would it be wise to dose nitrate to bring it to around 3-5 and continue my reef energy dosing daily?
