Happy Sunday!

I been debating on getting a carbon/gfo reactor. I put carbon in my filter sock and I dose phosphate RX every other week to bring down high phosphates. With water changes.

It’s working but should I just get a reactor for long term treatment?

I don’t like that it’s another thing to run, take care of and possible leakage.

Any thoughts?

I have reactors. I also put GFO in a filter sock. The filter sock is much quicker to change out than the reactors

I don't run GFO but do run carbon in the BRS reactors. My understanding is you get more life out of your carbon in a reactor. If worked about leaking you can put the reactor in the sump.
