Should I mix in more salt?

I just added water from my lfs and the salinity is 1.020, will it be ok of coral? If not am I able to add some of my instant ocean reef crystals to raise it to 1.25?

Did you calibrate it? I've found refractometers to be unreliable. Have you asked your lfs what salinity they run? I only ask because that seems really low.

Yes it’s calibrated, and I tried it on 3 different ones.

You buy pre-mixed salt from the LFS? I haven't seen that before.
To answer your question, in a fresh tank with no occupants you can add straight up salt incrementally until you reach 1.026.
In the case where you have living creatures in the tank you would just use pre-mixed saltwater to your top off water instead of RODI until the proper level is reached and then switch the ATO back to RODI.
I wouldn't add coral until the water is proper which is an easy fix.
