So i got this very large octospawn wall. For 60$ and a trade of a ton of zoanthids at a local store.

The coral seems extremely healthy even where it was cut. The bottom skeleton is sliced flat. Exposing all the skeletal tunnles.

I dont know if this matters or not. But should i putty that closed ?

I'd superglue seal, since it is known to be friendly to livestock. Putty, unknown.
Superglue was invented to quick close wounds during Vietnam Nam war.
