I have a six stage RODI water filter with a post carbon filter after the membrane and resin. My filtered water is reading 6 TDS. It says the post carb filter can temporarily raise TDS. Should I just remove this?

Well, on the canister, it says that it can temporarily increase TDS by a small amount and the reading came out as a 6PPM. Figured I might just remove it and see if it comes out as zero

I would remove that final carbon filter, there should be no need to have anything after the DI canister(s). See what TDS you get that way.

The TDS went from six to one so I guess I’ll keep it off

Just remember tds itself is not a concern. Seawater has something like 35,000 ppm tds in it. It’s really just an indicator of whether the ro/di is doing its job removing bad stuff from the tap water. :)
