Should I use the smooth side of the frag disk?

I’m mounting some sps to ocean wonders frag disks. ONE side is sanded smooth and the other is rough. Which is the best side to mount frags?

I don't think it really matters. I get these small plastic disks from TAP Plastics here in town and these things are smooth like glass. No problem.

I prefer smoother plugs myself.I like the appearance and it makes it easier to scrape off any nuisance algae.
