Should I worry if a couple scales are starting to stick out?

I have noticed that two scales are starting to stick out on my favorite molly. What could cause that?

Could just be a little damage. IME; mollies don't handle the strong flow of a reef tank too well, and will sometimes get pushed into a rock.
