Show invert for an 8" cube?

My first salt tank is doing pretty well, good coral growth at least. And while I do have 3 blue- legged hermit crabs, a margarita snail (didn't know they were a temperate species until after I got it home), and a few stomatellas, there's nothing moving that really catches the eye. The crabs and snail have been doing fine for months, I haven't even had issues with the hermits being aggressive. But there's just something... missing.

Tank: 8" cube, effectively ~1.5 gallons
Lots of coral, mostly zoas
No fish planned for this tank. Ever.
Does have a fairly deep (for this size) sand bed, 1-2" deep

Possible options:
- Bumble bee shrimp
- Sexy shrimp (worried about them eating coral)
- Tiny mantis?

Anything else I should consider?

Pom Pom Crabs are small and very cool looking. Mine tends hide in the rocks quite a bit in my tank, but I think without any fish or larger invertebrates you'd probably see him out and about more in your tank.

Here's a shot of mine hanging out on the rocks the other day. He's missing the anemone on his left claw though.

Pederson's Cleaner Shrimp (Ancylomenes pedersoni) or Caribbean Yucatan Cleaner Shrimp (Ancylomenes yucatanicus) get my vote. Both average about an inch in length, and generally stay out in the open.
