Love these!

Here are some of mine. The green porites is my first ever sps and also in a way my first coral. I got it by accident as a hitchhiker on a piece of live rock. It was a smooth white creamy patch which gradually coloured up as time went by.

What you are seeing isnt the original patch but a frag that has been growing for about a year. You have to micro frag them (cut them up into smaller pieces) and blast them with high turbulent flow and high lighting if you really want to see them take off. Its pretty hard to frag them using bone cutters as they form really thick club branches but they do encrust quickly. So i would basically glue a thin dead acro nearby and let the Porites encrust around it. It will gradually cover the whole acro branch.
