Hi,
In the coming weeks (soon.....not quite yet) I am going to be ordering a custom tank/stand from Reef Savvy.
I received a quote from Reef Savvy (Felix) and I am happy with it (especially considering the excellent quality of their work I have seen).
This is the build I am going with:
48"x24"x20" rimless (1/2" thick glass with high polish and beveled edges)
with 3 sides of low iron glass
16" ghost overflow
phantom bottom
black modern stand (35" high)
I am leaning heavily towards a sump too (I believe this would be done with Synergy Reef Systems).

For lighting.....I will be keeping the Pacific Sun Hyperion S from my current tank.

I am looking for your opinions on my build. Is there anything you think I should change?
Do you have a Reef Savvy tank? If so, please show it off here.
Anyone have a Synergy Reef Systems sump? If so, please show it off.

Thank you

I can tell you that you are making an excellent choice. Reef Savvy IMO are the best tanks available in the US.

I am also personal friends with Rick at Synergy and will say that there is a reason that he teamed up with Felix for the design of the Ghost and the high quality of his custom sumps and overall acrylic work. They go hand in hand with each other in matching high quality and attention to detail like no other in the industry.

Look forward to seeing your build.

That is excellent news :)
I am really excited about it.
When the time comes I will definitely take a lot of pictures.
Thank you for your input.

I was quoted $1200 and then $400 to ship it to me from them. Was a bit on the high side for me. I am curious to see how yours comes out!

For what size of tank? That doesn't seem too ridiculous. I am surprised they don't charge more to ship those glass elephants.

it was a 48X24X16 w/ out a stand. For me, going with the SR-80 at $1850 which includes the built in sump and stand seems like a better option.
