45 Hawaiian black
6 Hawaiian black
14 (sump tank) Bimini pink

14 has some growth on it. Hard to keep a clean up crew with a carpet anemone that almost takes up the whole back of the tank (18”) I turned the basement lights on for that pic. Tanks on a reverse light schedule. Comes on at 7 pm.

And I know the black looks cool. Do not get it. 50% magnetic. Scratches glass and locks up mp power heads.

I’m switching mine out in the near future.

Good call switching out the black. It does look cool, but I agree, laundry list of issues.

Yep! It is a Sleeper Banded Goby. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this guy does serious work taking mouthfuls of sand and filtering it.
They keep sand bed clean but spread sand all over corals on bottom third

I'm lucky in that I have a Marineland Magnum Hang on the Tank filter with a vacuum gravel attachment!! Every 2 weeks I vacuum my sand and get all the nastys on the surface. Help to clean out the nooks and crannys in the rock too.

It looks really clean. May I see it up close?

It's somewhat clean. I waited as long as possible before putting my high wattage lights on. The flow and cuc keep things in check right now. Sorry lights were going off

Thanks everyone for your replies and pictures! I have a question, if my tank is only a month old, is siphoning the sand out all at once a bad idea? I'm thinking about changing it to Fiji Pink (finer sand). But I'll only scoop out 80%, not all.
