First off I want to welcome you into this amazing and rewarding hobby! Your tank looks to be off on the right track, the first good thing you mentioned was doing your research before buying so your 1 step ahead already! Having a supportive spouse is always a great thing in this hobby ( my wife started off not so supportive, couldnt understand why id spend so much on 1 coral lol )

Im sure your next journey with a larger tank will be a fun one, nano tanks can be fun and rewarding but I love getting lost in a big tank for hours. If I could give any advice on your next build I would say look at what live stock you would like to keep and build your tank based around their needs.

Thats awesome! Seems like you jumped right in and doing great with the tank with how your last pic looks! Your daughter will be wanting to start her own before you know it lol I started a 29 gallon nano cube for my son, he cared at first and now walks right by it haha

Thank you! She already does want one. She is torn between a moon jelly tank and a clownfish/nem tank. Next hurdle is convincing mom to let us LOL.

Welcome man! I bet she would love a clownfish tank! I never tried jellies before but I'm sure she would be heartbroken if one didn't make it, clownfish are hardy little sucker's lol just tell mom she needs one also
