I purchased a classic controller and have been looking online for some nice installations / displays but have for the most part come up empty handed. I'd like to see what you guys have come up with! I have some ideas, but I'd like to see what else is out there. Post up your controller pics! Doesn' have to be Apex..

I always love this setup, by another user on here

I also used various LED flexible strips to light my stand, sump and even edge light around my Apex gear. They are controlled by my Apex which is handy. I used white to light both sides of the stand and then orange to light the sump and the edge lighting on the electronics side. I get all of my LED products from Oznium... super high quality stuff.

I'm an old fart and run my tank with two antique ReefKeeper 2's, with the controllers mounted in the front of the equipment stand:

The LED between the two controllers lets me know when my ATO reservoir needs a new bottle of water.

dang! That' nice but a bit out of my price range I think.
Oh me to, that's why I observe his ;Hilarious;Hilarious;Hilarious;Hilarious

How you go about it depends entirely on your goals. If what you want is a photogenic, color coordinated masterpiece, well, so be it. Me, my goals were (A) I never want to have to work from my knees again, (B) clean, simple, easily maintained, and (C) HIDDEN, so it doesn't _have_ to be a color coordinated work of art :)

This is inside a closet, behind my aquarium. Close the doors, eyesore is eliminated :)

I guess I should have shown the power strips as well. They are inside the cabinet right above the controllers.

One small detail that I would suggest is picking up a label maker to label those plugs and outlets. I used the blue tape, like you, for a while... I'm much happier with the clean white labels from the label maker. e

My one area of expertise is procrastination!

Labels are planned....we own two P-Touch labelers, but need the label stock. It's on the list. :D

This is great guys... A lot of good stuff here! I Love all the replies....

Built into the one end of my stand, in it's own compartment.
