Trying to do something a bit different from my last tank with this one. The last scape was quasi NSA done with Marco. It looked great but was lacking habitat for the fish and really limiting the amount I could add without aggression from the older fish.
Secondly, I don’t find the typical dry rock as porous as real live rock ( dry or wet). This also impacts the microfauna ( pods, etc.) habitat inside the display.
This Haitian is old lettuce coral, tons of caves and very porous, with larger surfaces to mount your corals and giving room for a big solid base on the SPS.
May be a while until it gets wet, hopefully by June, or this fall at the latest. Tank and stand arrive weds.

Many of the rocks I built out of either smaller pieces of rock cemented together or cement-covered, bent PVC pipes. The rest I collected myself in the Caribbean or Hawaii many years ago.

Quick update after a disaster that wiped out a lot of corals. An ICP test revealed nothing to cause it. Anyway, the tank is on its way back now but its a long slow haul.
