Here's my fur machine.

My 9 year old German Shepherd Duke and 7 year old rescue Cody. The top pic is Duke with my nephews. So many people brought their little toddlers up to pet Duke after seeing how calm and gentle he was. What a great breed ambassador!

Chai (Cat). She was a stray that decided to give birth to kittens in our front bushes. Soon she had a name and now is queen of the castle.
Cricket (Dog) We were driving down the road when we saw a little boy standing on the sidewalk. He was holding a sign that said "Puppies For Sale". We thought we would stop by "just to look".
Bruce (Female Sulcata Tortoise) -- She was barely bigger than a quarter when we got her. She now weighs over 50 lbs. When we found out that "he" was a "she" we asked the kids if they wanted to rename her. "Nope. Her name is Bruce." they said.

Good looking group! How old is Bruce? Our Sulcata is just about a hundred pounds now. His name is Louie. 14 years old. My wife had no idea how big he would get lol.

Oh geez...I can't imagine double Bruce's size. Louie is huge -- and a good looking guy. :) Bruce is eight years old now. Digs EVERYWHERE.

I had to reply to my own post; here's the pics of my babies below; the last is my fav as I came home to find them looking out the window, and the white doggie had her left paw over the brn/white dog's paw, the other pics, especially with the silly butterfly wings just lasted long enough for the pic as they were not having it...LOL.

Ok...just look at the avatar to the left. My rescued girls. One had been beaten and burned (after being purchased at full price, but used horribly); pups taken away from her; the brown & white one was at the pound to be euthanized due to Parvo. Yep; while they were saved from death; they saved MY life when dx'ed with a tumor. They love watching fish tank videos; and so that is another reason I'm getting back in the hobby!
