You probably get ~500+ pars at the tips of acropora ?
I’m only run 50% white, blue, purple, violet and get ~ 350-400 with the flow on

Not sure about par, but there is zero shadowing, my spread looks like mh/t5 combo, well lit :) I have been slowly ramping over several months, my white spectrum, as this intensifies, so has my coloring. My goal has been since this reboot, only sps, 90% acropora. That said, I planned it to cover end to end, back to front, enough light for acros on sandbed. Corals appear very happy!

Old thread, I'm game.
Currently rb v2 WITH NO LENSES. They are tucked in my short canopy 4.5" above the water. 100% blue 82% white, l. blue, violet. 12% green and 6% red.

If you don't like the 90 degree optics, ask Logan for the 120's. He used to give them out, not sure if he still does.
I took mine out cuz they are so close to the water and no disco in my tank.
Any negatives to removing all the lens? It’s just to increase spread right?

Increase spread, decrease punch is the negative. I'm at 100% white, blue, lite blue, violet. 10% red, green.
Tuned it with ITC PARwise.

Thanks that’s exactly what I need! Ima see if there’s a video online that shows how, also it’s 159 par & what mount height & how deep in the water?

It's about 4" over the water stuffed into that canopy. It's a standard 75 gallon, about 21" tall tank.
PARwise only reports usable spectrum unlike apogee and I really need to play with it more. This was a quick check to see the spectrum. I used an apogee in the same spot and it reported 350ish par in the same spot but again, I need to use the PARwise more and play with it. I also have a splash shield mounted to the light.

As far as taking out the lenses, easy.
Unscrew the bazzilion screws and lift the cover. The lenses sit in the led cups. Some fall out and some you need a tiny screw driver to help them out. Put all the cups back in. They have small dimples to keep them in place. Put the cover back on.

Edit: I went back to my other post and realized then I was running lower percentages. Just so you know, I'm at 100% 4 channels and 10% red and green. I also see I posted the shield.
I just laid that on the light and marked a few holes where the screws are. Drilled and used standoffs they use for electronic boards. I had to get some longer screws. They are metric, I think 2.5mm thread. (if my memory is right).
