Set up my first saltwater tank today, Fluval Evo 13.5 with caribsea Fiji Pink Rock and Caribsea Dry Life Rock. So excited! Water went clear so quickly

Awesome sauce! Can't wait to see what you do in a couple of weeks when life starts taking hold of your dead rock. In a couple days, get a guppy or two and add them in to help start the process. U can acclimate it (them) if you like. Which ever doesn't survive... let the body rest.

When it looks like the rocks and sand are beginning to turn green ans or brown. Start adding the clean up crew. Or just go to your LFS (local fish store) and ask them if they can spare you a tiny peace of Live rock, sand or even dirty filter water (dirt filter sponge squeezed into a small container) from their tank to help seed your tank.

If you get the dirty filter water... turn off your filter for a couple of hrs, while off... add the dirty water to your filter and let it sit and adjust. After a few hrs or over night... turn your filter back on and watch the seeding take place in a couple of days.
