i treated my tank today with interceptor, first time ive had to do this. i have a mated pair of coral banded shrimp and a pair of sexy shrimp. i was unable to catch them to put in a seperate tank. i know that interceptor can kill them, but was wondering if they are going to die from it, would it be within the 6 hour treatment? or could it be days later?

If they die it will be during treatment and if they didnt there will be a good chance that you will have to treat again.

It really depends. I lost one of my shrimp during my whole tank dosage and one survived. I wouldn't count on it, but hope fore the best!

my peppermints were never really a problem. but i would say that they are just nasty and pesky little creatures. anytime i put anything in hte tank that was having a problem. like after being fragged and was sliming they would go right for them, to eat up all the slime stuff. and i hated how they always would go after my arms when they were in the tank. ugh.
my other pep. did die this morning. so no more peppermints. the coral banded are still looking okay.

They chow down on just about everything.....Acans, Bristleworms, Chalice, Ricos......I had the biggest freakin Yellow Ric ever, it was probably 5" across, yup they ate it to about 1" until I realized it and moved it to the other side of the tank.

Are they chowing down on your zoas?
