Shrimp eating shrimp

Anyone ever had a few peppermint shrimp eat a candy cane pistol shrimp? Just looked in my tank and my pistol is torn to pieces and my peppermints are chowing down I'm shocked

The pistol shrimp must of died from something else

It was alive 20 mins before I saw him in his little cave kicking gravel around
