My bubble tip anemone is shrinking all of a sudden why ?

One of my splits does this randomly. When it does this I turn flow way down and it puffs back up, even loses its normal stringy tentacles and forms bubbles, like it should be.

Tank is 100 gallon acrylic established 10 years now. Nitrate is at 10 so am trying to buffer it down with Seachem denitrate in canister filter. I have protein skimmer on and working. Salinity is 1.023
Calcium is fine the phosphate 0, Using led lighting with night to day settings. using more actinic for the corals, zoas and palys. Using a Jebao Aqua 90 wave pump.

Salinity is a touch low. Also need to know alkalinity and how long you've had the nem.

had for years Salinity is 1.024 they have split 6 times and I have 3 in tank from same. they have recently shrunk to about 4 inches they were huge a month ago.

Have you changed carbon recently ? In my experience Kenya tree and anemones battled each other - anemones usually won but the Kenya is big
