I bought my zoa along with my other corals a month ago. My other 2 seem fine but my zoa has been getting more shy and not opening up as much lately. I was wondering if it was because of my light (Nicrew Hyperreef 30w)

My tank is 18x19x18in tall
I also just set up the tank a few months ago. Is my high KH the problem or could it be other factors?

Your numbers look fine to me and your light is fine as well. I would check for pests as there are a few that can be problematic for zoas.

That stated, sometimes they just get moody. If they’ve only been like this for a day or two I wouldn’t necessarily worry about it, but if they’ve stayed like this for a week or more then there likely is something causing them to be irritated/closed up.

Edit: I took a closer look at your pictures and it looks like they are stretching for light. You might want to turn up your light a little bit.

Only a few polyps of the zoa have been shy for about 2 weeks. I also don’t have a sunrise and sunset feature in my light so it just clicks on. Could that be shocking my coral?
