Sicce sdc7 and app

My return pump has only been setup for 3 months and I'm getting a "maintenance" notification. Is that normal? Sounds pretty soon imh. Also, what do you guys clean them with and how do you do it? This is my first return pump so I'm kinda clueless. Do you use Sicce pump clean or can you use citric acid?

I thought that Sicce pump clean was citric acid? Either will be fine.
