Hello, I recently bought a calcium reactor that uses a syncra 0.5 set up externally as the recirculating pump. After setting everything up and getting water flowing I noticed that the pump was leaking from the O-ring on the intake end. Has anyone else experienced this problem with using sicce pumps externally?

Just got a SICCE Syncra wifi pump and yup having the same problem with it leaking around the plastic fitting on the out-take side. Going to try and call Marine Depot and see what they suggest since Ii bought it from them.

I just set up a brand new AquaMaxx cTech T-NANO Calcium Reactor and the Sicce Syncra pump is leaking with a pretty fast drip, but right out of the case on the cord end. Really disappointing. has anybody else observed this? Can I hope to get a replacement from the retailer or from AquaMaxx?

I'm considering trying to seal up that end provisionally with some J-B Weld, although that's going to be very ugly and I also wonder about a voltage hazard since the leak is going right through the case.
