SO I got on of those Sicce ultra zero pumps to help move water around.
1st time i used it worked great 2nd time if you let it run dry before unplugging it,( emptying tank for FW test) it would not pump water for about 24 hrs

3rd time same thing but its been 3 days now. so disappointing. any one know of a fix before I try to get it replaced?

got two tank in the works and need a pump tp move water around.

Did you open it and check/clean the impeller?

Is it completely submerged when you turn it on?

How long did it "run dry" before you unplugged it? It's possible you damaged the motor.

I dont see a way to open it and clean the unit. am I missing something?

yes 100% in water when I turn it on.

only 5-10 sec. at most I was right there ready to move the pump to the next job.

it reminds me of the old MJ pump that used to spin backwards but if you have then a tap it would get it together and start working.

You have to twist the ring at the base to open the pump.

The instructions that come with the pump will show you how to open it... You turn the collar at the bottom.

thanks guys
I did try that but will try again need to get this working.
It can be hard to twist it and it’s pretty flimsy. I broke one. If you use it often, I suggest you order a couple of those as replacements just in case.

got it off nothing was in the shaft took it out and gave it a good rinse but still cant get it to pump. : (

I guess I am back to just dripping my RODI into the tank.
I have 100 gal of RODI made up in the basement i'll have to use for making up my AWC and top off.

gonna reach out to BRS where I got it a few months ago and see if they can swap it out.

My ring is broken. May I ask where you got your replacements?
