Hi group,
Super new to the reefing hobby and this is my first tank, 40 gal cube. Tank was cycled with Dr Tim’s and has been in operation for a little less than 2 months. Added these two mocha clownfish about 2 weeks ago from a LFS.
First week they both did fine but about a week ago the bigger clownfish (shown in the video) has not been eating. I’ve tried frozen mysis shrimp, frozen brine and pellets. I’ve added garlic extract to the shrimp and brine. She darts out to the food but either eats and spits it out or just take a small bite and stops. I’m feeding them about twice a day right now.
She’s bigger than the other clownfish and she shows aggression towards him. I saw a small white spot on her sides but they disappeared pretty quickly. She also had one instance of a really long white, clear stringy poop.
Currently I dosed the tank with PraziPro in the hopes it’s just an infection of some sort. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
