What do you mean cycled biological material? Live rock and sand? Because I did put live rock and live sand in the tank here is a picture of the water I purchased
The biological material is where the bacteria are going to be stored, you can use elements such as blocks of marine pure, maxspect, ceramic rings, etc..., so over time it colonizes and is what practically gives life to your tank since it leaves it biologically active, if you add water from an established tank to yours, even a tank over 10 years old will not work, the colonized biological material does everything, sand and live rock help, especially all the latter, but you still need the rest.
