Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, wasn’t sure where else to post.

I have had this hammer for about 3 months now and he just will not open. I’ve tried the bottom of the tank, I’ve tried the top, middle, heavy flow, no flow, light flow, leaving him in each spot for at least a week if not more. The rest of my euphillia (sorry if misspelled) are doing great and my Duncan is wide all the time and is flowing. Same with frogspawn. No noticeable pests but I’m not sure what those reddish nodule things on it are. Could these be the problem or do y’all see something else? Ideas? Thanks in advance!
All parameters are good too!
