This has shown up on my clown, it was small at first and has gotten bigger, he has just recently started hanging out in this torch and has been pretty rude to anybody that has come near so my first thought is that either my blenny took a bite and injured his Gill plate or my giant emerald crab grabbed him, does this look like an injury as opposed to a parasite or disease? And I do have some metroplex and focus tho I’ve never used it.

I do believe it’s an injury, I did a freshwater dip , the white stuff wasn’t a fluke or parasite, I think the torch probably stung him, it does look a bit better today although he’s still all up in the torch so probably not the last time

Does it still look infected? You might consider treatment with antibiotics if it's not gone in the next 48hrs.

Right now it’s just red and a bit swollen, if it doesn’t improve I’ll pull out the hospital tank
