Hello,
I have a clownfish who experienced a cloudy-looking film over her body after I had a Neon Dottyback pass in the tank unexpectedly, I believe, from the same thing my clown has. I fed her twice a day, and after a week, she has completely cleared up on the outside appearance. I purchased a safety stop. I am going to dose my clownfish in, but what UV Sterilizer should I purchase for my tank, and how long should it be run for each day, and how long should I run it for from the time I get it? I don't have any other fish in the tank other than my single clownfish.

If you use a UV sterilizer it should run 24-7 and I'd run it for at least 6 months past when you add your last fish. Just FYI, running a UV sterilizer isn't a substitute for QT. A submersible UV like the JUP-23 should work well in your system.

I purchased the safety stop fast quarantine because I don’t have the available space for a quarantine. But I know something is in the water because my clown got whatever the sickness was. But thank you for the UV recommendation I will look into it.
