Hi all! Below is my relatively new tank (to become a reef when finances allow).
This tank was purchased off of facebook marketplace and is your standard 60 gallon tall/long that you would find at Petco or Petsmart. I drilled and plumbed the tank, incorporating the only sump that I could find that was prefabricated to fit in such a narrow stand (that was rough). This stand was never intended to carry so much filtration and equipment. I am out of room, which may be seen by the dosing pump that is sitting on the top of my ATO reservoir container :grinning-face-with-sweat:. Also, you can't see it from this angle, but in order to get my skimmer cup out, I have to turn off my return pump and unscrew one of the unions...it's a tight fit! May this be a lesson to anyone...get a deeper tank!
I have about 17 inches of width to the left of the tank where the ATO reservoir sits that I would love to put a black cabinet or something there to contain things like my dosing system, ATO reservoir, battery backup, etc. I also have an old Innovative Marine NUVO Fusion 10 AIO aquarium sitting in a closet that I have considered making a coral QT and setting up beside the tank; this being said, if the cabinet were strong enough to support said tank, that would be a great bonus!
Any ideas where I could find a selection of cabinets (I have checked Wayfair, but I haven't found much), or would I be better off building one or installing floating shelves on the wall?
