Thanks Lowell, but even though what youlinked to is Siporax and the same material, this is not exactly what they are using on these systems. The ones you linked to are the 15mm size. These are easy to find here in the states. The ones that I believe Leo and others are using is the 25mm size. Pond size. They also apply the rings differently. They stack the larger rings end to end and in rows. This helps keep them from trapping detritus. It is kinda hard to do this with the smaller rings. The smaller ones are usually just added to a system in those mesh bags, or in a canister filter.

Note the size difference shown on the box and the way they stack the larger rings in trays in the second picture.

Leo, please correct me if I am not stating this correctly. This is just what I have seen when browsing through postings of other people's reefs that use these.

Hello "ontheway" this is a white glass, i dont know how it is make but came white from factory .

White background along with white sand is certainly adding to overall look of the tank. Do you use UV or ozone to keep water and glass clean? White glass is not so easy :)

Exactly Fin, It is exactly how I think. although one of the reasons I have used siporax pond is the fact be cheaper in my country and also retain less debris.
