I'm looking for a goby that will both sift and keep my sand clean and form a relationship with a shrimp. I've done a little research but haven't really found a species that does both besides maybe a yellow watchman. Any recommendations?

I think you are going to find that it will be one or the other.

The shrimp gobies (Cryptocentrus, Stonogobiops, Amblyeleotris) don’t go around the tank sifting sand. They really only take mouthfuls to make a burrow, then don’t touch it much after that. Much like a Jawfish would.

The true sand-sifting gobies (Amblygobius or Valenciennea) don’t pair with shrimp as to my knowledge and experience.
