I currently have a Siganus corallinus aka Blue spot rabbitfish. I have owned him since 2012. So he is about 13 now. From what I have read online he is well past his expected life span. What have been everyone's experience with them? He is by far not my oldest fish. That would be my purple tang at about 15-16yrs old.

@Topekoms Congrats! Always nice to see people have their fish for over a decade or more. How big was he when you got it and how big is he now? And what about the size of your Purple Tang then vs now?

Would love to know your total stocking list, fish sizes and how long you had them for.

Thanks.

My scopas is tang is 13 4 inches
Picasso trigger 12. Years old 5 inches.
Fox face 12 years old 6 inches
Velvet damsel, 12 years old 6 inches
Bicolor angel I think 11 years old 4 1/2 to 5 inches
Two clowns 11 years old one is 3 inches one is 4 inches

The coral beauty flame angel and a little flame hawk fish are all under 3 inches and I’ve had them since March of this year …..
not the smartest thing to add to this 120 tank. I change filter socks twice a week and clean the skimmer twice a week and do religious 20% water change every two weeks my nitrates were as high as 160, 6 months ago then I retired and started paying attention to my tank now they’re 20.

The tank is overstocked, but these guys have known each other for a long time and don’t act stressed. I won’t add anything else to it and I’m gonna let these guys live out their lives in this retirement home for fish.😊
