Silent return pump for Waterbox 25 mini peninsula

Does anyone know anything about TMC reef pumps? Good, bad, silent, dependable? I need a SILENT, dependable DC pump for my Waterbox 25 mini peninsula. Thank in advance!

Although I can’t help you with the TMC question, I’m in the process of putting together a WB 25 peninsula and from the research I’ve done, the IM mightyjet mini (266ghp) DC pump fits with no modifications. The larger desktop version needs to be trimmed down to fit, and placed in the back at an angle. I think if any pump is touching glass, it’ll vibrate and make noise.

I like the IM mighty jets as well. I actually have the AI axis return pump and it works great! I prefer the mighty jets controller. Both are great options and are silent.

I replaced the dual pumps on my IM20 with a jebao DCW 1500. The tank is in our bedroom and I can't hear it. I run all jebao return pumps because I've found them to be very dependable, quite and cheap enough that I buy two so I have a backup

Highly recommend cutting a silicone mat as a floor buffer in addition to a different pump than the stock one.

My favorite return pumps for AIO's are zksj bottom feed pumps. You can get a ton of power in the smallest footprint and they've been as silent as can be.

I use the 2500 TMC on my Red Sea nano max to replace the stock pump because I had to hook up a chiller and needed more power. It is quiet and does as promised, happy with it. It is the same pump AI has; made by some manufacturer, however the TMC is cheaper and not controlled with an app.

You can control the AI with the controller. Not a huge fan of the controller though.
