I also suggest waiting at least 5-7 days before using. Making sure its fully cured for strength and to be sure no chemicals or ammoina leach out. have made several diy sumps and used AGA and GE I silicone with no issues so far. I feel the AGA silicone sticks to acrylic better the GE I.
