Hi everyone, after alot of reading I picked up some ge silicone 1, 100 percent silicone yesterday for some sump baffles. White and blue bottle and says all purpose for Windows and doors and trim. After starting the first panel I realized I bought white and not clear. I don't think this will be a problem since it is 100 percent silicone, not ge 2, and nowhere does it say there are any nolf inhibitors but wanted to see what others thought.

You should be fine as long as it doesn't conflict with your color scheme.:D

The important thing is to let it cure as long as you can.....3 day minimum for me, but 5 days is better.

24 hours is when caulk is used around windows, doors, etc. When used in showers, they suggest 3 days. For aquarium use, instructions state 3 - 5 days. I know an aquarium builder who actually waits 7 days.
